Box Score NEWBERG, Oregon – Sean Hamel had a goal and two assists, but the Loggers ultimately reached a 3-3 tie at George Fox Saturday afternoon.
The Bruins (2-8-2, 1-5-2 NWC) scored first in the 13th minute, but Sean Hamel evened the score in the 21st minute by scoring on a free kick.
Puget Sound (4-5-3, 3-3-3 NWC) and the Bruins entered halftime in a 1-1 tie.
Gabriel Faro-White gave the Loggers a 2-1 lead in the 65th minute, as Hamel assisted on the score. However, George Fox scored the next two goals and took a 3-2 lead in the 81st minute.
Dane Schatz scored the equalizer in the 83rd minute off a long throw-in by Hamel.
Puget Sound remains on the road for a 12 p.m. match at Pacific Sunday, Oct. 14.
