Murdock's goal, Norwood's shutout seals season finale win

Box Score

PARKLAND, Washington – Junior Luke Murdock gave his senior teammates a sweet parting gift by scoring the game-winning goal of a 1-0 Puget Sound men's soccer victory at Pacific Lutheran Saturday afternoon. It was the final game of the 2018 season for the Loggers.

Murdock netted his conference-leading 11th goal in the 17th minute off an assist from Angel Herrera-Flores.

Logger senior goalkeeper Wren Norwood needed to make just three saves to blank the opposition for the fifth time this season.

Murdock finishes the regular as the NWC's leading scorer. He's the first Logger to lead the conference in scoring since Carson Swope had 14 goals in 2013.
