Spence's goal lifts No. 20 Loggers past the Bruins

TACOMA, Washington - Cale Spence buried his second goal of the season early in the second half lifting No. 20 Puget Sound men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over George Fox on Sunday afternoon at East Field. 

The Loggers remain undefeated and improved 5-0-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. George Fox fell to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1 in NWC.

After a scoreless first half, Puget Sound's Marko Babiak launched a cross from the right side that skimmed off Gabriel Faro-White finding Spence for the goal. 

Defensively, the Loggers only allowed three shots on goal from the Bruins and Ethan Stern-Ellis made two saves throughout the contest. 

The Loggers are on the road for the next two games. The first at Whitman on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 2:30 p.m.
