Tess Carden scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Puget Sound women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Linfield Sunday afternoon.

In the 26
th minute, Carden delivered a corner kick that was headed in by
Kylee Roath to give the Loggers (9-0-1, 5-0-1 NWC) a 1-0 lead. It was Roath's fourth goal of the season, which is tied with
Genny Jilka for the team lead.

The Wildcats (1-7-2, 0-5-1 NWC), however, tied the game just three minutes later.

Second before the final whistle of the first half, Carden buried her first goal of the season into the bottom-right corner.
Kalina Cordero assisted on the score.

Chaylea Tome needed to make just one save in the second half to secure the victory.

The Loggers have a big home game against nationally-ranked Pacific Lutheran Wednesday, October 6, at 4 p.m.
