WHITTIER, California  – The Puget Sound women's basketball team won its fifth consecutive game with a 63-44 triumph at Whittier Sunday afternoon.

Sophie Nilsson was the game's high scorer with 24 points, and three more Loggers scored in double figures.
Kennedy Brown scored 10 points and dished out six assists in her first start of the season.

Coming off the bench,
Addison Reardon scored a season-best 13 points, and
Grace Pytynia-Hillier added 11.

Katie Minnehan pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds, six of which were on the offensive end.

The Loggers (5-1) continued to show confidence from 3-point range by attempting 33 shots from distance – making 11 of those attempts. Meanwhile, Whittier (2-1) shot just 3-for-17 from beyond the arc.

Puget Sound next has a couple of games hosted by Lewis & Clark. The Loggers will take on Walla Walla Saturday, Nov. 27, and Cal Lutheran Sunday Nov. 28 in Portland.
