TACOMA, Washington – Three Loggers scored in double figures as the Puget Sound women's basketball team earned its first win of the season, 72-54, against Pomona-Pitzer in Memorial Fieldhouse Sunday afternoon.

Sophie Nilsson led all players in scoring with 15 points. She shot 5-for-9 from the floor, and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Paige Gerhart added 12 points, and
Katie Minnehan finished with 10.

The Loggers (1-1) dominated the glass, 48-31, and all five Puget Sound started grabbed at least five boards. Nilsson led the way with seven rebounds.

Puget Sound remains at home next week to host Multnomah Friday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m.
