Box Score WALLA WALLA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team put nine shots on goal, but none got through as the Loggers lost at Whitman, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Loggers and Blues were locked in a scoreless tie at halftime, but Whitman broke through with a goal in the 55th minute. The Blues also capitalized when they were rewarded a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.
Cale Spence fired off five shots for the Loggers, four of which were on frame.
The Loggers also earned twice as corner kicks as Whitman, 10-5.
Puget Sound gets another crack at the Blues Sunday, March 14, at 1:30 p.m.
