Men's soccer goes against Whitworth on short rest

FANS AND FAMILY ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ATTEND ATHLETIC EVENTS

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team has a quick turnaround when it hosts Whitworth for the final two Northwest Conference games of the season, March 20-21. Kickoff for both games in Baker Stadium.

The Loggers played at Pacific Lutheran just two days ago (March 17). The Lutes pulled off a 1-0 win.

Cale Spence continues to lead the Northwest Conference with six goals. He's also tops in total points (8).

On the other end of the pitch, goalkeeper Andrew Matheny has made a conference-leading 24 saves.

The Pirates won both head-to-head games against Puget Sound in 2019. Dating back to the 2017 season, the Loggers are 2-3-1 against the Pirates.

This weekend's contests are makeup games are from the Feb. 13-14 weekend, when it snowed in Tacoma.
