TACOMA, Washington – Despite holding a 1-0 lead at halftime, the Puget Sound men's soccer team lost to Whitworth, 2-1, in Baker Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Marko Babiak's third goal of the season gave Puget Sound a lead in the 24^th minute. Blake Robertson needed to make just one save to keep Whitworth off the scoreboard through the game's first 45 minutes.

However, the Pirates tied the game in 58^th minute, and then they scored the game-winner in the 69^th minute.

The Loggers and Pirates play each other again Sunday, March 21, at 1:30 p.m.
