Box Score SEATTLE, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team nearly pulled off another upset against an NCAA D-II team, but Seattle Pacific beat the Loggers in overtime, 2-1, Saturday afternoon.
One week after beating D-II Western Washington, 1-0, the Loggers put in another great effort against Falcons.
Seattle Pacific scored first in the 14th minute, and it took that 1-0 lead into halftime.
Lincoln Schell tied the game in the 67th minute, beating the keeper to the high left corner. Just 10 minutes later, the Falcons answered back to reclaim a one-goal lead.
With four minutes left in regulation, Ian Cameron tied the game by burying a shot in the top right corner.
Overtime did not last long, however, as the Falcons scored the game-winner just 33 seconds into overtime.
The Loggers conclude their season at Pacific Lutheran Tuesday, April 13, at 4 p.m.
