Puget Sound hasn't played since March 27 – when it upset D-II Western Washington, 1-0, in Bellingham, Washington. The Vikings are the defending Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) champions.
Cale Spence scored the game-winning goal in the 61st minute at Western Washington. It was his fifth goal of the season, which is tied for the Northwest Conference lead. Marko Babiak is close behind with four goals this season.
After going seven consecutive games without a win (0-5-2), the Loggers enter this weekend with two-straight wins. Prior to beating Western Washington, the Loggers beat Whitworth, 2-1 at home thanks to Tyler Zamira's game-winning goal late in the second half.
Seattle Pacific is 1-1 this season. The Falcons lost to St. Martin's, 2-1, but beat Pacific Lutheran, 3-1. A year ago Seattle Pacific had an overall record of 7-9-1, and a GNAC record of 6-6-0.
