TACOMA, Washington – Two Loggers put up a double-double in the Puget Sound men's basketball team's 76-65 win over Pacific in Memorial Fieldhouse Friday night.

Cal Hansen scored 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
Grant Erickson matched those 10 boards and scored 10 points his second double-double of the year.
Mussie Teclemariam was nearly the third Logger to double-double, finishing the night with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Paul Johnson led the Loggers in scoring with 22 points, hitting four of his five 3-point attempts. He also came up with three steals on the defensive end.

The Loggers (8-9, 3-5 NWC) set the tone early by running out to a 7-0 lead. Puget Sound went up 30-11 midway through the first half when Johnson hit a trey, and it was a 22-point game, 43-21, after Johnson hit free-throws with 6:16 on the clock in the first half.

The Boxers (5-11, 1-6 NWC) never stopped fighting, and they pulled to within 69-62 with just over three minutes left in regulation. However,
Mussie Teclemariam drained Pacific of its momentum when he drew a foul shooting a 3-pointer. Teclemariam made two of his three attempts at the line.

The Loggers shot 50-percent from the floor, including 56.3-percent (9-for-16) from beyond the arc.
