TACOMA, Washington – Jena Williams and Chloe Akiona-Bannan stepped up to lead the Puget Sound volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-18, 25-18) win over Linfield in Memorial Fieldhouse Saturday night. The two seniors were playing in the final regular-season home game of their collegiate careers.

Williams notched a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs. She also put away the game's final point. Akiona-Bannan ended the night with a match-high 15 digs.

The Loggers attacked at a season-best .284 clip. Sarah Johnsen and Avery Allemann both finished with 12 kills, and Logan Winn totaled 45 assists.

The Loggers remain in a first-place tie with Whitworth, as both teams are 10-4 in the Northwest Conference.

Puget Sound's final two regular-season games are at Pacific Lutheran (Nov. 2) and Lewis & Clark (Nov. 5).
