TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team came up short against Pacific Lutheran, 1-0, on Senior Day.
The Loggers were able to hold off PLU's offense until the 79
th minute, when the Lutes broke through for the game's only goal.
Ryan Saunders made nine saves for the Loggers – his second-highest total for the season.
Six of Puget Sound's 14 shots were on target. Ryan Smith, Shane Ivich, and Lincoln Schell each put a shot on goal in the game's final 10 minutes.
Puget Sound's season comes to a close when it hosts George Fox Sunday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m.
