REDLANDS, California – Hailee Ueyama and
Kendall Gantz both finished with multiple hits, but the Puget Sound softball team lost the second game of its doubleheader at Redlands, 10-2 (5 inn.), Saturday afternoon. The Loggers dropped the first game, 9-0 (5 inn.).

The first inning of the second game, Puget Sound (0-4) put together a two-out rally that started with
Abbi Wong reaching base on an error. She then took second on a wild pitch, and scored on a single by
Savanna Smith.

The Loggers didn't score again until the fifth inning. Ueyama hit a one-out single to right field, and she moved into scoring position when Wong reached on a fielder's choice that force Ueyama out. However, once again moved into scoring position on a wild pitch, and this time it was Gantz who delivered the RBI hit to score Wong.

The Loggers finish their California trip at Chapman Sunday, Feb. 13, starting at 9 a.m.
