Milan Lam added five, to lead the Puget Sound lacrosse team to a 17-7 win at Whitworth Saturday afternoon.

Emily LaRiviere both added three assists in the winning effort.

Starting goalkeeper
Olivia Almy made three saves on seven shots to earn the win.
Phoebe Crowther played the fourth quarter between the pipes and made two stops.

The Pirates (2-3, 1-2 NWC) claimed a 2-0 lead in the game's first three minutes, but the Loggers (2-1, 2-1 NWC) scored six unanswered goals from there.

Abby Stranahan netted Puget Sound's first goal off an assist from Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss also added two goals during the 6-0 run.

Bushing netted three of the final four goals in the second quarter, as the Loggers took a commanding 13-3 lead into halftime.

By the end of the game, the Loggers had totaled 29 shots to the Pirates' 15. Puget Sound totaled a season-high 15 draw controls.
