McMINNVILLE, Oregon – Hayden Hotchkiss set the tone early in the Puget Sound lacrosse team's 16-3 win over Augsburg Friday evening. Linfield hosted the non-conference game.
 
Emily LaRiviere scored a game-high five goals, and Abby Stranahan found the back of the net three times.
 
Hotchkiss scored the game's first goal just two minutes after the opening draw. Less than five minutes later she put the Loggers up 2-0 with her seventh goal of the season.
 
The Loggers (4-1) carried an 11-0 into halftime. Three of LaRiviere's goals came in the first half. She leads the Loggers in scoring this season with 17 goals.
