TACOMA, Washington – Beatrice Bridge scored a team-high three goals, but the Puget Sound lacrosse team lost to George Fox, 16-6, in Baker Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

The Bruins (2-0, 1-0 NWC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but Bridge put the Loggers (1-1, 1-1 NWC) on the board with the final goal of the first quarter. Bridge then scored the first goal of the second quarter to bring Puget Sound to within 3-2.

However, George Fox closed out the first half with four unanswered goals.

Milan Lam scored twice in the second half, and Bridge netted the Loggers' final goal of the game.

The Loggers have a break from competing until they hit the road March 12 for a game at Whitworth.
