TACOMA, Washington – Seniors
Kelsie Sullivan and
Maddy Garcia rose to the occasion during the Puget Sound softball team's Senior Day games against Pacific Lutheran Friday afternoon.

Following the doubleheader, Puget Sound celebrated its five seniors and their loved ones:
Hana DeGuzman, Garcia,
Kelsie Sullivan,
Hailee Ueyama, and Abby Wong.

In the second inning of the first game, Sullivan belted a two-run homer. It was her second home run of the season. In that same game, Garcia baffled the Lutes through six innings. Puget Sound never tailed until the seventh inning, but the Lutes rallied late to claim a 6-2 win.

In the second game Puget Sound was in a 7-0 hole through five innings, but
Savanna Smith came through with her fourth home run of the season. DeGuzman led off the bottom of the sixth inning with a double, and Wong followed by reaching base on an error.

Two batters later, Smith put the Loggers on the board by clearing the left-field fence.

The Loggers and Lutes wrap up their series with a double header in Parkland, Washington Saturday, April 16.
