TACOMA, Washington – Savanna Smith hit her second home run of the season, while 
Hana DeGuzman and 
Kelsie Sullivan both a had multiple-hit efforts, but the Puget Sound softball team lost twice against Pacific at Logger Field Saturday. The Boxers won the first game, 7-1, and they took the second game, 7-2.
 
Puget Sound was nearly shutout in the first game until Smith blasted a solo homer over the centerfield fence. It was her second long ball in as many weeks.
 
In the second game, DeGuzman went 2-for-4 at the plate, and Sullivan finished 2-for-3. DeGuzman scored on a wild pitch in the first inning, and she hit an RBI single in the seventh.
 
The Loggers and Boxers conclude their series with a doubleheader Sunday, April 3, starting at 11 a.m.
