TACOMA, Washington – Hannah Bushing scored a team-high four goals, but the Puget Sound lacrosse team lost to Willamette, 13-9, in Baker Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Â
Before the start of the game, Puget Sound celebrated its seven seniors: Bushing,
Beatrice Bridge,
Hayden Hotchkiss,
Emily LaRiviere,
Lauren Mastin,
Romi Miller, and
Isabele Riser.
Â
The Bearcats held a 5-0 lead after the first quarter, but Mastin put the Loggers on the board early in the second quarter with her 10
th goal of the season. Two minutes later,
Abby Stranahan scored to bring the Loggers to within three goals.
Â
However, a three-goal deficit is as close as Puget Sound would get to Willamette.

Â
Bushing has 14 goals this season, which is tied with
Hayden Hotchkiss for second on the team.
The Loggers have a quick turnaround when they host Linfield Wednesday, April 6, at 5 p.m.
