Hausia-Haugen nets first-career goal in 2-0 win over No. 24 Pomona-Pitzer

SANTA CRUZ, California – For the second time in seven days, the Puget Sound women's soccer team took down a team nationally ranked by United Soccer Coaches. The Loggers beat No. 24 Pomona-Pitzer, 2-0, Sunday afternoon. UC Santa Cruz hosted the game.
 
Last week, the Loggers beat No. 22 Emory, 1-0, at home in Baker Stadium.
 
Radhika Webster Schultz's first goal of the season stood as the game-winner. She scored in the 51st minute off an assist by Layla Santos. It was Santos' third assist of the season.
 
Freshman Leila Hausia-Haugen netted her first-career goal in the 73rd minute.
 
Chaylea Tome notched seven saves for her fourth shutout of the season.
 
The Loggers return home to begin conference action against Linfield and George Fox (Sept. 17-18).
