Box Score NEWBERG, Ore. – Graham Hall scored the game-winner and added another goal in the 48th minute to secure a dominant 4-1 victory for the Puget Sound men's soccer team at George Fox on Sunday afternoon.
In the 3
rd minute,
Etienne Polak was fouled inside the box, allowing Hall to convert his first goal from a penalty kick. The Loggers defended against three shots on goal from the George Fox Bruins, heading into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Three minutes into the second half, Hall struck again, this time with a 20-yard free-kick that curled into the top right corner of the net, doubling their lead. Then, in the 61

Jake Aigner found
Etienne Polak to extend the lead 3-0. It wasn't until the 72
nd minute that the Bruins found the net, with a quick connection from Eugene Peltier to Santiago Munevar who drove it into the right side. The Loggers responded just three minutes later with a goal from
Isaac Storms, assisted by
Stuart Methner.
Defensively,
Ryan Saunders recorded four saves, and the Loggers now stand at a 2-2-2 in Northwest Conference play.
