TACOMA, Washington – The No. 16/13 Puget Sound women's basketball team lost its Senior Nigth game, 73-62, against Pacific in Memorial Fieldhouse Saturday evening.

Before the start of the game, the Loggers celebrated five seniors:
Rebekah Dasalla,
Amanda Ferguson, Katie Minneghan,
Grace Pytynia-Hillier, and
Samantha Swartout.

Sophie Nilsson led the Loggers in scoring with 15 points, and Minnehan added 11 points and eight boards.

The Boxers began to pull away midway through the second quarter. The score was tied, 20-20, following a bucket by Nilsson, but the Boxers answered with consecutive baskets of their own. From then on, Pacific never trailed.

Puget Sound and Whitman are now tied at the top of the Northwest Conference standings with identical 12-2 conference records.
