PARKLAND, Washington – Kennedy Brown led all players in scoring with 17 points as the No. 21/16 Puget Sound women's basketball team toppled Pacific Lutheran, 69-45, Tuesday night. It was the Loggers' 12
th victory this season by at least 20 points.

With one game left in the regular season, Puget Sound is one win away from at least a share of the Northwest Conference title.

Puget Sound has now won seven consecutive games against PLU.

Brown shot 6-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-5 from 3-point range Tuesday night.
Sophie Nilsson and
Paige Gerhart both scored 10 points.

The Lutes were able to keep pace with the Loggers in the early going, and the Lutes held an 11-7 lead midway through the first quarter. However, Puget Sound went on an 11-0 run in the final four-and-a-half minutes of the quarter.

Puget Sound opened the second quarter with a 9-0 run that began with a Gerhart 3-pointed and ended with a Nilsson trey. Â
