TACOMA, Washington – Grant Erickson scored a game-high 22 points as the Puget Sound men's basketball team dominated the second half in an 89-78 win over Willamette in Memorial Fieldhouse Friday night.

Erickson came up one point shy of matching his career-high, and he added eight rebounds. The highlight of the game was Erickson going up with two hands to dunk over a Willamette defender in the second half.

Mussie Teclemariam scored 19 points and added eight rebounds in the winning effort.
Taj Phillips totaled 14 points and dished out seven assists.

Puget Sound held a 43-36 lead at halftime, and it opened the second half with a 14-2 run in just three minutes. All of the Loggers' points during the run, save for a Teclemariam 3-pointer.

The Loggers led by double-digits for the rest of the second half. The lead peaked at 23 points, 75-52, when
Drew Gillette hit a 3-pointer with 12:25 left in regulation.
