TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound baseball team celebrated its seven seniors at Cheney Stadium Wednesday evening for the Loggers' final game in Tacoma this season. The Loggers almost overcame a six-run deficit against NCAA D-II St. Martin's, but the Saints held on for a 7-5 win.

The Saints jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Loggers got a run back in the bottom of the stanza when Joyce hit an RBI double.
