TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound softball team celebrated its five seniors during a Northwest Conference doubleheader against Pacific Lutheran at Logger Field Friday afternoon.

Hailee Ueyama, and
Savanna Smith are approaching their final collegiate softball games.
Pacific Lutheran won the first game, 11-2 (5 inn.), and the Lutes took the second game, 5-0.
Jessica Moore went 3-for-3 at the plate in the first game, increasing her season batting average to .351.
Newman hit an opposite-field double in the second game, and Rice, who's been battling injuries for the past couple of years, got a start at second base and saw her third at-bat of the season.
Smith pitched her 10
th complete game of the season, striking out eight and allowing just four earned runs.
The Loggers and Lutes meet up in Parkland Saturday, April 15, for two more games.
