TACOMA, Washington – Freshman catcher
Zach Robman made the most of his first-career start, but the Puget Sound baseball lost to Pacific Lutheran, 6-4, at Logger Field Sunday.
Â
In the bottom of the second inning, Robman showed how hard he can hit the ball when he ripped a two-out single through the left side for his first-career collegiate hit. And he wasn't done there.
Â
Robman led off the bottom of the fifth inning by blasting his first-career home run, and he led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a double.
Â
Overall at the plate, Robman went 3-for-3 with a walk, and he scored two runs.
Â
Puget Sound has a make-up conference game at Lewis & Clark Wednesday, April 5. The Loggers host Claremont-M-S for three non-conference games, April 8-9.
