TACOMA, Washington (November 1, 2024) -
Samantha Keightley &
Mackenzie Leith served as the key pillars of a 14-point streak where the Loggers imposed their will against the Boxers, rendering their attacks useless in the third set. Albeit after a slow first set, Puget Sound picked up speed and steamrolled to a 3-set victory, one wherein
Maddie Badger and
Sarah Johnsen yet again led the team - alongside Leith - who had 8, 7, and 14 kills, respectively. Keightley scored 5 aces on the evening, stumping the Boxers. Head Coach Mark Massey stated after the match that he was proud to see "points of emphasis from practice turn to reality" as the Loggers so efficiently disabled their opponent.
In their last home game of the regular season, the Loggers will face the Bruins of George Fox at 6:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, November 2nd.
