TACOMA, Washington (November 23, 2024) - In their fifth preseason game of the season, Logger Women's Basketball (0-5) went neck and neck with Texas Lutheran Bulldogs (4-1), who were fresh off of a 62-40 win over Pacific Lutheran.

The game was close from the start, the lead changed hands a number of times throughout the first two quarters. Addison Reardon led Puget Sound with 14 points, and Emme Esienman came up big with six of the team's 34 rebounds. The Loggers went on an 8-point run in the second to put them back in front, and they ended the first half ahead 34-33. However, with two minutes left in the third quarter, the Maroon & White were unable to hang on, despite leading the Bulldogs in FG percentage.

The Bulldogs were able to slowly pull ahead moving into the fourth quarter, fighting the Loggers for each point as they were unable to hold possession and gave up vital turnovers which led to Bulldog points. The game ended 55-67, with the Bulldogs on top.

The Loggers next play Northwest University on Wednesday, November 27th, at home in the Fieldhouse at 4:00pm.
