WALLA WALLA, Washington (November 9, 2024) - Puget Sound Men's Soccer (6-5-7,3-5-7 NWC) lost their second-to-last game of the regular season against the Whitman Blues (11-6-2, 8-5-2 NWX this afternoon in the first game of their weekend.
The Blues took an early 1-0 lead against the Loggers, with a goal in just the fifth minute. However,
Liam Elliott was assisted by
Pema Globus for the Loggers' first and only goal of the day. The Blues commanded their attacking third, with 18 shots, 10 of them on target; stark in comparison to the Puget Sound's six shots, three on goal.
The Loggers next face the Whitworth tomorrow, kicking off at 11:00am in Spokane, where they'll look to end the season with a win against the 10-7-2, 8-5-2 Pirates.
