TACOMA, Washington (December 10, 2024) — The Loggers head into winter break with a 96-72 victory over the Northwest Indian College Eagles.

The Loggers quickly went up 7-0, but the Eagles were able to pull within two points, taking a 9-7 lead. The game stayed close until the Loggers broke away, extending their lead to 11 points. The half ended with the Loggers ahead 50-39 after shooting nearly 60% from the field.

In the second half, the Loggers continued to dominate. They maintained their lead throughout and, at one point, topped the Eagles by 27 points. Liam Ruttledge led the Loggers with a season-high 26 points. He went 9-for-12 from the field, 5-for-6 from 3-point range, and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. The Loggers set a new team record for free-throw shooting, going 19-for-19. Hugo Rutherfurd was three blocks shy of a triple-double, finishing with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

The Loggers will return home the weekend of Dec. 28 to face Douglas College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday.
