The women's team (2-4-2, 2-1-1 NWC) kicked off at 2:45, looking to continue the streak on the day for the Loggers. Similarly to the men's game, they were able to net a goal within twenty minutes of the starting kickoff, with a goal from Zoe Fowler, assisted by Kya Scott. Then, just a few minutes later, the Loggers once again caught the Pios defense on their heels. This time it was Zoe Witter scoring for Puget Sound, and what would ultimately be the game-deciding goal. The Pioneers were able to get on the board in a last-ditch effort in the 83rd minute, but it was too little too late.

Like the men's team, the women will next play Pacific on Oct 5, and George Fox of Oct 6, returning home to face Whitworth at 2:45pm on Oct 12.
