How it Happened
Both teams traded buckets to start the game, as a layup by

Paige Oh and
Mele Sake capped off the scoring to make it 14-8 after one.
The Loggers continued their run in the second quarter, as an and-one by

Quiggle and Oh put the Loggers on top in the third quarter, hitting back-to-back buckets to give the Loggers their lead back. Yet another pair of Loggers got into the scorebook, as
Natalia Sefair-Lopez drilled a three to make it 33-29, and
Claire Thompson layed it in at the buzzer. The third ended with a Loggers 35-32 lead, giving them the advantage heading into the fourth.
Puget Sound started to pull away at the start of the fourth, going on a quick 9-3 run in the first 2.5 minutes. Back-to-back buckets by the River Otters made it a game, but the Loggers didn't let go of their lead. They continued to pound the paint, as Layups by Quiggle and Sake both kept the Loggers going. With the Loggers up eight with a minute to go, the free-throw game started. They closed out the game with a seven point vicory, taking down the River Otters 61-54.
