Aguiar made sure the lead held up over the first five innings as he scattered three hits. However, Cal Lutheran came through with a pair of runs in the sixth to take a 2-1 lead. Another run in the seventh made the score 3-1 for the Kingsmen.

Connor Savage closed the gap to one run when he scored on a passed ball to make the score 3-2. Taylor Volz came in to pitch the final two frames. After holding the Kingsmen scoreless in the eighth, they plated two unearned runs in the ninth to secure the 5-2 win.

The Loggers will head to Claremont, Calif., tomorrow to take on Berry College at the campus of Pomona-Pitzer at 2:30 p.m.
