Box Score

TACOMA, Washington – Mason Quinlan homered twice, drove in four runs, and scored four times as the Puget Sound baseball team completed a three-game sweep against Pacific at home with a 14-5 win Sunday afternoon.

Quinlan's first home run was a three-run blast to left field that gave the Loggers a 7-1 lead in the second inning. He also hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to push Puget Sound's lead to 11-2.

The Loggers faced a 1-0 deficit entering the bottom of the first, but Puget Sound pushed four runs across the plate in the opening frame. Hunter Riley ripped a two-run double down the left-field line, and Kyle Strash and James Dejesus both produced RBI singles.

Riley and Strash both finished with two RBI.

Puget Sound starting pitcher Michael Warnick improved to 4-1 after allowing just one earned run through six innings.

The Loggers next play at Pacific Lutheran, Tuesday, March 20, at 3 p.m.
