TACOMA, Wash. - Holding the visiting Linfield Wildcats to just
14 second half points, the Puget Sound Loggers picked up a 52-29
victory in a Northwest Conference women's basketball game on
Saturday evening at Memorial Fieldhouse in Tacoma, Wash.
In the first half, the Loggers (8-3, 2-0 NWC) kept the 'Cats

break.

the Loggers kept on the defensive pressure, holding the 'Cats to
just 21.7% shooting in the second half. Picking up the 52-29
win, it marked the least amounts allowed by the Loggers since a
95-20 win over Caltech on Dec. 19, 2005.
The Loggers were led by 13 points from Karen Chase (Yakima,
Wash./West Valley). Caitlyn Faidley (Seattle, Wash./Azusa
