FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The Puget Sound men's tennis team fell 9-0 at Pacific on Friday. The Loggers (1-2, 1-8 NWC) fell in straight sets in the singles matches.
After Pacific took the #1 and #3 doubles matches, George Murphy and Jake Peterson challenged Spencer Hing and Brandon Schlack in the #2 before falling 8-5.
John Stevens pushed Scott Kawamura in the #4 match in the first set but fell in a tiebreak 7-6 (7-1) and dropped the second set 6-1. Michael Cutter also narrowly lost his #2 match with Hing, falling 6-4 in the first set and 7-5 in the second set.
The Loggers head to George Fox tomorrow for a Saturday afternoon match.
