TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team picked up its first win of the season with a narrow victory over Bellevue, 5-4, on Friday.
Abe Noyes picked up the decisive win for the Loggers (1-7) at No. 4 singles, as he came from behind to defeat his counterpart in three sets: 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. Joe McRoberts picked up a win at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-1). Andrew Struzenberg (No. 5: 6-2, 6-1) and Jacob Kompolt (No. 6) also won their respective singles matches.
Chet Selis and Colton Wright teamed up to win their No. 3 doubles battle, 8-3.
The Loggers next host crosstown rival Pacific Lutheran on Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m.
