Women's tennis edges Willamette, 5-4

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis singles effort pushed the Loggers to a 5-4 win over Willamette on Sunday.

Results

The Loggers recorded four singles victories in the afternoon, including wins by Farrell Ahlf at No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-1) and Tresa Bild at No. 3 (6-4, 5-7, 6-2). Tamara Runnicles won her No. 4 singles match (6-2, 6-1), and Alison Goo won at No. 5 (6-3, 6-3).

Ahlf and Runnicles won a crucial No. 3 doubles match, 8-2.  

The Loggers next compete at Whitman on Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m.
