TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound tennis teams concluded the 2016 season against Whitworth on Sunday. The Logger women lost at home to the Pirates, 7-2, while the men fell on the road, 9-0.

Elizabeth Chao and Tressa Bild won their respective singles matches for the Loggers women. Playing at No. 2 singles, Chao won handedly, 6-4, 6-0. Bild overcame a first-set loss (6-7) to win the second set, 6-4, and the tiebreaker, 10-9.

The Whitworth women swept the doubles competition, though Chao and Nicole Bouche fought through an 8-6 defeat.
