TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's tennis team opened its 2017 with a 9-0 loss against George Fox at the Puget Sound Tennis Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.

Jacob Kompolt won a handful of games at No. 2 singles, but he ultimately fell in two sets (6-2, 6-1). After losing the first set in No. 3 singles, 6-0, Chris Severt improved but dropped the second set, 6-2.
Kompolt and Chet Selis teamed up in No. 2 doubles, but lost 8-2.
The Loggers look to bounce back at Linfield on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Northwest Conference matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m.
