Women's tennis falls to Whitman, 8-1

TACOMA, WashingtonLisa Owen was victorious at No. 1 singles, but the Puget Sound women's tennis team lost at home to No. 26 Whitman, 8-1, on Friday afternoon.

Results

Owen remained undefeated in singles play on the young season, earning a 6-1, 6-2 victory. The freshman teamed up with Nicole Bouche to compete at No. 1 doubles, but the duo lost for the first time this season, 8-3.

The Loggers continue their NWC schedule on Saturday, Feb. 18, when they look to bounce back at home against Linfield at 1 p.m.
