Logger women beat PLU, men lose to Lutes

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team beat Pacific Lutheran, 6-3, for the second time this season. The Logger men, however, lost to the Lutes at home, 6-3.

Lisa Owen and Nicole Bouche continued to dominate at No. 1 doubles to the tune of an 8-6 win. Elizabeth Chao and Bridget Myers teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles.

Bouche was also victorious at No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-0). Chao pulled off a comeback win at No. 3 singles (2-6, 6-1, 6-2). Myers won at No. 4 singles (6-4, 7-6), and Tressa Bild earned a victory at No. 5 singles (6-2, 7-5).

On the men's side, Ben Kolson and Jacob Kompolt earned the Loggers' lone doubles victory, 8-3, in the No. 3 slot. Rajan Grad-Kaimal won at No. 5 singles (6-0, 7-6), and Ben Colson won at No. 6 singles (1-6, 7-5, 10-1).
