Women's tennis loses at George Fox, 7-2

NEWBERG, Oregon – The Puget Sound women's tennis team finished its weekend of Northwest Conference road matches with a 7-2 loss at George Fox on Sunday afternoon.

Nicole Bouche and Lisa Owen combined for their second No. 1 doubles victory of the weekend with an 8-2 triumph over the Bruins.

The Loggers' lone singles victory was captured by Barclay Fagg in the No. 6 slot. She was victorious in a closely contested battle (6-2, 4-6, 10-3). Bridget Myers won the second set at No. 4 singles, 6-4, but she was downed in the final set, 6-4.

The Loggers return to the Tennis Pavilion on the Puget Sound campus when they host Willamette on Saturday, March 11, at 10 a.m.
