TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound tennis teams were overwhelmed by Whitman on Saturday, as the Logger men lost two matches at home, both 8-1, and the Logger women lost on the road, 9-0.
Jacob Kompolt was victorious at No. 4 singles, 6-7, 6-1, 10-6. In the other men's match, Ben Colson won at No. 5 singles, 1-6, 7-6, 10-2.
The Loggers look to bounce back against Whitworth on Sunday, April 9. The men host the Pirates at 10 a.m., and the women play at Whitworth at the same time. The Puget Sound women beat Whitworth, 5-4, in their last match against the Pirates (March 19).
