Women's tennis edges out Pacific Lutheran, 5-4

PARKLAND, Washington – In just its second match of the season, the Puget Sound women's tennis team earned its first win of 2018, 5-4, at Pacific Lutheran Friday evening.

Scores

Lisa Owen and Barclay Fagg dominated at No. 1 doubles, 8-2. Bridget Myers and Tresa Bild also earned a victory in doubles play, 8-5, in the No. 2 slot.

Myers won her No. 2 singles bout in two sets (6-0, 6-4), and Fagg won at No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-4). Mei Roen dropped her first set at No. 6 singles, but she rallied for a victory (4-6, 6-4, 6-1).

The Loggers host their first home match of the season Sunday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. against University of British Columbia.
