Salem, Oregon. – The Puget Sound women's tennis team suffered their first loss, 7-2, during their first NCAA D-III match of season vs. the Willamette Bearcats Sunday afternoon.

Barclay Fagg won the only singles match for the Loggers, defeating Slyvia Marr, 7-5, and 6-3.
During the doubles competition Fagg and Tamara Runnicles had a hard battle, and prevailed defeating the Willamerte duo, 9-8.
The Loggers take on cross-town rival Pacific Lutheran Friday, Feb. 9, at 4 p.m.
