Loggers beat College of Idaho during Senior Day

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's tennis team closed its 2018 season in fashion, topping visiting College of Idaho, 7-2, Saturday afternoon. The Loggers swept singles competition. Puget Sound's 6-6 record this season is the program's best mark since 2014 (8-6).

Before the match, the Loggers honored their four seniors: Tresa Bild, Claire Fitzgerald, Mei Roen, and Tamara Runnicles

Lisa Owen dominated at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-3), and Bridget Myers won at No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-4). Nicole Bouche was victorious at No. 3 singles (6-4, 2-6, 6-3), and Fitzgerald won at No. 4 singles (6-4, 6-3). Bild came away with a win at No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-3), and Runnicles completed the sweep at No. 6 singles (6-4, 6-2).

Owen and Bouche teamed up to win No. 1 doubles, 8-4.
